It is an organization created in 1936, linked to Ford Motor Company, which seeks, through the work with leaders and organizations, to change the social structures and the models of inclusion, in order to contribute to equality of opportunities and the capacity-building for development and inclusion. Within this context, the Fund for Higher Education, Youth and Peace Building, was created by Manos Visibles in alliance with BBVA. The target population of the Fund is community-based youth leaders that represent populations at risk in the cities of Cali and Medellín. The end goal is to fund their professional training in the ICESI and EAFIT Universities in order to enhance the impact of their actions in their community.

CoLab seeks to deepen citizens’ participation, improve communitarian practices, inform those who elaborate public policies, mobilize community actives and generate shared wealth in order to combat poverty, climate change and massive urbanization. CoLab is Manos Visibles partner by supporting The School of Communitarian Innovation for the Pacific Power Program.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID ) has awarded the implementation of Program for Afro-descendants and Indigenous to ACDI/VOCA, the time frame for the project is from the 30th of August 2011 until the 29 the of August 2016. The objective of the program is to improve social economic and political inclusion for Afro-descendants and Indigenous in three geographic regions: The Pacific coast, the Caribbean coast and the central area. The ethnic minority communities are amongst the most marginalized groups of the country and the suffer violence, feeling of invisibility, and decomposition of their social structure and identity.
