Mission - Vision
-Hands that make-
Elaborate effective inclusion practices in urban contexts by designing and implementing comprehensive development strategies, thus strengthening urban community organizations that emphasize on young people, women, and vulnerable ethnic communities.
-Hands that build and envision-
In the year 2021, be the leading organization at generating social knowledge and social innovation practices in order to reduce social inequity and prevent violence in urban centers in Latin America.
Development is not just the distribution of physical resources, but it is the process of building from the ground up, employing the community’s assets (such as their history, values, beliefs, hopes and struggles), generating capabilities and enhancing the access to opportunities that enable equitable growth. Poverty is not only the absence of material resources but it also a mindset, a view of the world that affects individual and communal hope as well as personal experiences and expressions.
